From the beginning, Stories 4 Da Fam has treated collaboration with Italian, Italian-American, Sicilian, and Sicilian-American communities as a core commitment, not a secondary interest. The Italian and Siclian translations of our Founding Document are more than symbolic statements of goodwill. They accompany a public benefit corporation whose legal purpose commits Stories 4 Da Fam to serving identified public benefits beyond shareholder returns.

Stories 4 Da Fam exists to create public benefit by preserving working-class memory, fostering long-term cultural partnerships, strengthening civic engagement through literature, and developing innovative forms of storytelling that expand public access to history and culture. As a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation, we pursue these goals through archival stewardship, collaborative research, and literary innovation sustained on a studio model.

These translations exist for two reasons. First, they reflect genuine personal admiration for the culture, language, family values, and aesthetic intelligence that shape Italian and Sicilian life. Second, and more importantly, they signal that our engagement is meant to be ongoing and reciprocal. We are not asking communities to meet us only in English; we are meeting them in their own languages as a concrete expression of respect and a foundation for deeper partnership.
